An afternoon in Manly.
No, not a gay bar... Manly is a beach suburb on the North Headland and Northern Beaches.
Something that Perth lacks. Lot's of cafes and bars along the beach.

Cremorne Point.
The view from my run. I have found an 8K route around Cremorne and Mosman which has quite nice views of the city.
I wont miss the apartment, but will the views.

Meet the locals.
Thankfully not dangerous, but lots of them in the trees. Mollie is not to keen to walk under them. Wait until she meets a Huntsman.

So we finally made it to Sydney.
We have temporary accommodation in a 2-bed apartment in Cremorne Point. This view is very close to our apartment.
The apartment is tiny and it didn't take long for us to receive a note under the door about the noise. :/

Two days, two containers and 200 boxes later and we are finally out of Greenwell Street.

Here we go again...

Lynette, Anthony and the boys.
Trigg Island Cafe's profits will suffer without Lynette and Anita.
Anthony, where is your blog mate?

Not everyone made it onto the picture... sorry Jane.
Again, more sad goodbyes.

One of the hardest decisions, taking Mollie out of her school and away from her friends.
Karrinyup Primary School has great teachers, pupils and parents.

Joel having to say goodbye to his 'Daycare' friends.... and not too happy about it!

Moving to Sydney seems like the right thing to do, until you have to start saying goodbye to some amazing friends in Perth.

More from the locals.
As well as the dolphins, there were a number of really big pelicans, who were all really friendly and would strike a pose for a camera.

As we have sold our car (with moving to Sydney) we had a hire car for the trip up north. It's amazing how hire cars can go off-road with ease.

It was quite windy on the beach.

Shell beach didn't disappoint. A beach of only shells.
The skipper and first mate.

Being English, there was the mandatory pedalo excursion. Hopefully the sharks don't like yellow.

It was an amazing experience to have 5/7 dolphins swimming two feet from you. Even the mothers and their calves came in to be fed.
As part of the experience, people were chosen to hand feed the dolphins and Joel and I were chosen. I was worried that Joel would try to ride the dolphin bare back, but it all went off without a hitch and Joel got to feed the dolphin a fish.

Monkey Mia.
Our Easter break we took the opportunity for one last trip in West Australia. We drove 1000kms (9 hours) north of Perth to a small resort where you can hand feed the dolphins.
